Toddlers to teenagers, we had them all. Along with a LOT of rain in the days leading up to the weekend.

Saturday dawned with a lot of options, not many of them kid friendly. But fun was found on Lake Fontana, the Tuck Gorge, a fluffy Nantahala, and the Little River in the Smokies to name a few. The day was capped with a hot dog roast, potluck and s’mores around the camp fire.

Sunday trips included the Tuck, the Nantahala, Little Tennessee, middle Tellico and Tellico Ledges. And the treats kept coming with an ice cream social in the evening.

And for the folks who could squeeze in one more run there were even some trips on Monday.

Big thanks to everyone who came out with special thanks to Jason for rounding up hot dogs and buns, Ian for the ice cream, Jen for the s’mores, Matt and Tom for offering to coordinate trips and Jim for running the river board.
