Week of Rivers is a whole lot more than just a CCC boating event. We give back to the community. This is our 9th year working with the Swain County Health Departments CHORE program. Supporting Seniors in need in the community. We gather treats and requested items for a “Christmas in July “present.
This year in addition to our 20 Senior Care Packages we’ve been asked to resupply Swiffer products for 9 clients. Our core group of clients consists of 17 women and 3 men.

The Swiffer Senior Care Packages include disposable wet pad refills, refills for Swiffer duster, and Swiffer WestJet system cleaning solution refills.
The Senior Care Packages include fruit cocktail cups, Oreos, fun size candy bars, lance crackers, freeze pops, toothpaste, toothbrush, flushable wipes, 13-gallon kitchen garbage bags, Kleenex, Clorox wipes, multi purpose cleaner, dishwashing liquid, hand soap, shampoo, body wash, toilet paper and antiperspirant.
