Plans proceed apace for WOR!

We have a trip coordinators Zoom meeting on this Tuesday at 7 pm. A great opportunity to learn about trip coordinating : https://www.carolinacanoeclub.org/events/wor-trip-coordinator-panel/

There is plenty of field space at Smoky Mountain Meadows, but there are only 2 fixed sites left (not shown on map): 81 and 42T. 81 is across the road from sites 60/61, and 42T is creekside across the road from site 28.  Contact Sarah at Smoky Mountain Meadows at 828.488.3672.

  1. It says there are plenty of spaces at Smoky Mountain Meadows but looking at the website for the campground it shows as unavailable. Is that because it is all reserved for the CCC and we can just go and pay for our spot when we arrive?

  2. SMMC has fixed camp sites and field camping.

    All of the fixed sites are reserved (except possibly 81, you have to call about that one as it’s not a “normal” site).

    But there’s plenty of field camping. You can reserve in advance, or just deal with it when you arrive.
