Nantahala Parking Instructions

The CCC encourages everyone to play NICE. This is a busy weekend for NOC. It’s private property and for years and in the non-peak season, paddlers use and have used NOCs facilities for free. They could charge to park. Although we spend some money there, most generally don’t. It’s the rafting groups and families that pay the bills.

This plan is subject to change. Updates will be provided at the WOR morning meetings.

Parking on the NOC campus is very limited. Paddlers are strongly encouraged to park at the Wayah Road Forest Service Parking Area or at Ferebee Memorial Park.
