Kayak Support Volunteer Opportunity for Triathlon in Sims, NC
Dawn Dixon from FS Series, a race production company that organizes 5Ks, triathlons, half marathons, marathons, and other endurance events throughout the Triangle and across North Carolina, reached out to us for volunteers.
Giving back to the communities where we race is an important part of what FS Series does. Each event supports at least one local charity, including organizations such as Make-A-Wish Eastern North Carolina, Team Drea Foundation, 1 in 9, and Northeast Wake Backpack Buddies.
FS is currently preparing for the Battle at Buckhorn Sprint Triathlon on Saturday, September 26th at Buckhorn Lake in Sims, NC. They are looking for kayak and canoe volunteers to provide on-water support for our swimmers during the swim portion of the race.
