The Book Boat is coming to Week of Rivers!

Dear Club Members:

 We are announcing the first-ever Week of Rivers Little Free Library.  It will be located at site 16, in a repurposed canoe Alton Chewning has kindly donated for this purpose.  We are hoping to create a free exchange for paddlesports related books, outdoor books (both non-fiction and outdoor themed novels), beach-read novels, travel books, you get the idea.  Children’s books of the same type, kids / family board games or card decks, and paddling related toys (such as ever-popular foamy boater) are also welcome.  There will be art supplies for kids of all ages to decorate the canoe “stacks.”  The library will not be staffed, but your head librarian, Lorraine, asks you to donate, borrow and take what you want to lull yourself to sleep on a warm summer night or for your home library.
