Triad Area Paddlers Roll Session
This month GetOutdoors is hosting the Triad Area Paddlers Roll Session, Wednesday Aug 12th, from 5pm to 8pm. Join us at the Piney Bluff boat launch on Belews Lake (address below). This is an opportunity to gather with friends and sharpen your paddling skills.
Will, from GetOutdoors, will be on hand to assist folks working on a roll but there will also be experienced paddlers there to offer support and encouragement.
If you are a new boater, feel free to reach out and ask questions. We ask everyone to bring your own boat, paddle, life jacket (required), spray skirt, helmet, and whatever gear you might need. Bring your canoe, touring kayak, or whitewater boat, SUPs are welcome too!
We will have a light cookout, Joe Berry is cooking Hot Dogs. Bring your own drinks and a snack or side item to share. Bring your chair, plate, cup, and utensils, and join the community.

All participants in any Carolina Canoe Club (CCC) trip do so as common adventurers. The CCC or its individual members may coordinate paddling trips but no one is considered leader of a trip. As common adventurers, all participants take the responsibility for making their own decisions including, but not limited to, whether it is safe for them to participate on any particular water body, what equipment they need and use, the routes they may choose to paddle, whether their skill levels and abilities are adequate for the activity or whether climate and water conditions are appropriate for their participation. Participants are exclusively responsible for their own safety.
Individual coordinators for all CCC activities set requirements per their sole discretion. The CCC does not necessarily endorse or approve requirements set by coordinators.
