I haven’t been over there to see what river access is at West Point, but presumably closed. If anyone has an updates, please email me or add as a comment.
Today, there are so many people in the area, and the Eno River is little more than a creek. I support anything that will keep the river healthy and vibrant, while still serving the people. It is a fragile ecosystem. The Ambloplites Cavifron are only found in a few streams and rivers in North Carolina and Viginia. They require clean, swift water to spawn and live. I give the park personnel all of my respect.
