Mighty Mayo River Trip 2016

Meeting in the parking lot of 220 Sweepstakes at 10am. On time is 15 minutes early. Located on 220N around Stoneville NC. Exact address is 9601 Hwy 220 Stoneville, NC 27048.
We are dreaming of low water, cold weather and a large crowd. Goal of 50 boaters.
This is a great winter trip with a mix of new and old boaters. Bring your old friends and make some new friends. The north fork of the Mayo is a great beginner run with the world famous “Boiling Hole rapid” followed by the other world famous ” S Turn rapid”at the end of the run.
Bring your favorite river food to share at the takeout. We have our Czarina of Hot Chocolate back this with a table at the takout. Don’t forget your mug! We are also doing a food drive for the local community. Let’s show the local community we care.Load those canned goods and non perishable goods up. Feel free to donate more than you think you should!

All participants in any Carolina Canoe Club (CCC) trip do so as common adventurers. The CCC or its individual members may coordinate paddling trips but no one is considered leader of a trip. As common adventurers, all participants take the responsibility for making their own decisions including, but not limited to, whether it is safe for them to participate on any particular water body, what equipment they need and use, the routes they may choose to paddle, whether their skill levels and abilities are adequate for the activity or whether climate and water conditions are appropriate for their participation. Participants are exclusively responsible for their own safety.
Individual coordinators for all CCC activities set requirements per their sole discretion. The CCC does not necessarily endorse or approve requirements set by coordinators.
