DESCRIPTION:How fast can you paddle from Concrete Beach to the Photo Stand 
 Stairs? Find out July 3rd at 11:00 am. This is a VERY informal timed event
 . NOT A RACE. Think of it as a service provided by fellow club members. Pe
 rhaps you will be inspired to try down river racing.  A couple of radios\
 , a stopwatch\, adoring fans and off you go. Take several runs and see if 
 you can improve your line and your time. Cowbells for spectators are appro
 priate for this event and will encourage the paddlers. Best times will be 
 recognized at the July 4th morning meeting. Stick around and participate i
