SUMMARY:Umpteenth Annual WoR Hiwassee Trip!
DESCRIPTION:Assuming a dam release\, I will lead a trip on the Hiwassee Riv
 er in Tennessee on the first Sunday\, 6/28\, at Week of Rivers.  It is a 
 beautiful Class II run\, with clear\, cold water (a TN state Wild &amp\; S
 cenic River).  Long pools\, and short ledges.  A great place to build yo
 ur skills with ferries\, eddies\, and small surfing waves\, and the trip w
 ill focus on playing in these features.\n\nA novice with basic skills shou
 ld be qualified to do the run.\n\nIt is a 2 hr drive from camp\, so we wil
 l try to get away quickly after the meeting.  Be gassed up\, and ready to
  go the night before.  We will try to combine into the fewest vehicles. T
 ake lunch\, water\, and sunscreen. We will stop for dinner on the way back
