If there are large numbers and huge regional participation then more Friday’s could possibly be scheduled. If I am sick, injured, or traveling, I will arrange for a regional certified instructor from the Charlotte Whitewater Center to be there and take charge, or someone equally competent, good with kids, and knowledgeable about procedures.
Tool for faucet and hose must be somewhere in pool area and available to wash kayaks outside door if a person brings a kayak not perfectly clean.
Cost will be 5 dollars with the request to give more If possible. Until it hurts. Gets donated to the YMCA.

411 Cherryville Rd., Shelby NC 28152. The Y is on the corner of HWY 150 and Wyke Rd. Enter on the Wyke Road side and you will see the pool on that side. Park as close to the pool as you can and knock on one of the doors of the pool facing the parking lot to get in. Do not go in front door of Y.
All participants in any Carolina Canoe Club (CCC) trip do so as common adventurers. The CCC or its individual members may coordinate paddling trips but no one is considered leader of a trip. As common adventurers, all participants take the responsibility for making their own decisions including, but not limited to, whether it is safe for them to participate on any particular water body, what equipment they need and use, the routes they may choose to paddle, whether their skill levels and abilities are adequate for the activity or whether climate and water conditions are appropriate for their participation. Participants are exclusively responsible for their own safety.
Individual coordinators for all CCC activities set requirements per their sole discretion. The CCC does not necessarily endorse or approve requirements set by coordinators.
