SUMMARY:Roll &amp\; Skills Clinic\, Jordan Lake Farrington Point
DESCRIPTION:Roll &amp\; Skills Clinics are intended for anyone who wishes t
 o learn or improve their kayak roll\, an invaluable skill in paddling whit
 ewater. If you haven’t rolled by the end of the course\, you’ll leave 
 knowing what you need to achieve that goal. You will also have an opportun
 ity to work on other skills\, such as paddle strokes and alternative assis
 ted rescues. This course is limited to three students per instructor.\n\nF
 ormat: Beginners will start with body awareness exercises and building com
 fort being underwater\, including how to exit a boat safely while upside d
 own. Instructors will then move to teaching safe body mechanics and rollin
 g progressions.\n\nWhat to Bring\nTowel\nSwimwear\nChange of clothes\nRive
 r footwear\nSunscreen\nWater bottle\nNose Plugs (Can be purchased locally 
 at Great Outdoor Provision Company)\n\nIf you have your own kayak\, paddle
 \, and spray skirt you are learning to use\, we encourage you to bring the
 m\n\nWhat the CCC Provides\nKayak\nPaddle\nSpray Skirt\n\nMembership in th
 e CCC is required. This clinic is for persons over 18 years of age\, or ov
 er 15 years with a parent attending the clinic (Above 13 years may also be
  considered on a case-by-case basis). CCC is a Paddle America Club insured
  by the ACA (American Canoe Association). Registration is non-refundable.\
