SUMMARY:Roll Clinic\, June 18th\, Farrington Point Boat Launch
DESCRIPTION:Roll Clinics are intended for anyone who wishes to learn or imp
 rove their kayak roll\, an invaluable skill in paddling whitewater. If you
  haven’t rolled by the end of the course\, you’ll leave knowing what y
 ou need to achieve that goal. You may also have an opportunity to work on 
 other kayaking skills\, such as paddle strokes and alternative assisted re
 scues. This course is limited to three students per instructor.\n\nFormat:
  Beginners will start with body awareness exercises and building comfort b
 eing underwater\, including how to exit a boat safely while upside down. I
 nstructors will then move to teaching safe body mechanics and rolling prog
 ressions.\n\nWhat to Bring\nTowel\nSwimwear\nChange of clothes\nRiver foot
 wear\nSunscreen\nWater bottle\n\nIf you have your own kayak\, paddle\, and
  spray skirt you are learning to use\, we encourage you to bring them\n\nW
 hat the CCC Provides\nKayak\nPaddle\nSpray Skirt\n\nMembership in the CCC 
 is required. This clinic is for persons over 18 years of age\, or over 15 
 years with a parent attending the clinic (Above 13 years may also be consi
 dered on a case-by-case basis). CCC is a Paddle America Club insured by th
 e ACA (American Canoe Association). Registration is non-refundable.\n\nReq
 uirements:\nCompletion of ACA &amp\; CCC waivers (follow-up by Instructor 
 after initial registration)\nCompletion of questionnaire (follow-up by Ins
 tructor after initial registration)
