DESCRIPTION:August 22-23\, 2026:  Southern Invasion of Ohiopyle\, PA.\n\nTr
 ip coordinated by Lynn Miller\, Jennifer (Jen) Stockwell\, and Jasmine Elm
 ore.\n\nSaturday\, August 22:  Trip on the Lower Yough\, Class III/III+ - 
 Solid roll required. Pool drop river. Water frequently cold\, even on hot 
 summer days. $10 required (day of - not in advance) for launch/shuttle per
 mit from the park service (cash and credit options). Trip coordinators kno
 w the river well and can provide beta on multiple lines\, if requested. \n
 \nSunday\, August 23: Trip will depend on local water levels.  Maybe a rep
 eat run on the Lower Yough. Possibly Stonycreek Canyon\, if there is a rel
 ease (also class III/III+\, more continuous than Lower Yough). Those looki
 ng for a shorter day could do the Lower Yough loop only. \n\nTrips will be
  a mix of play and river running. We do not plan on bombing the river. Exp
 ect to spend at least 6 hours on the water Saturday. Bring lunch\, snacks\
 , and lots of water.  \n\nMust be a CCC member. Registration required by J
 uly 25\, 2026. The meeting place and time will be communicated after regis
 tration. A group camping option will be available for those interested. Th
 ough small\, Ohiopyle has several great spots to grab a bite to eat. A cou
 ple of our favorites are Twisted Spoke Cafe and Falls City Pub.\n\nPlease
