 as a short program emphasizing safety\, enjoyment\, and skill development.
  The skills and knowledge gained can set the stage for a lifetime of explo
 ration\, adventures\, a healthy lifestyle\, appreciation of water and the 
 natural world\, lasting memories with family and friends\, and a rewarding
  experience for all.\n\nThis L3 RSR course is designed to teach recognitio
 n and avoidance of common river hazards\, execution of self-rescue techniq
 ues\, and simple rescues for paddlers in distress. Emphasis is placed both
  on personal safety and simple\, commonly used skills. This course is aime
 d at whitewater boaters interested in learning fundamental river rescue sk
 ills\, such as wading\, throw ropes\, swimming\, rigging and craft-based r
 escue.\n\nNote: This is being held in conjunction with the L4 Swiftwater R
 escue class. Day one covers the L3 River Safety Rescue skills. Day two cov
 ers the L4 Swiftwater Rescue skills.\n\nConducted in Partnership with ACA
