  on July 15th\n\nOpen to CCC Members only. ACA Membership or $10 ACA Event
  Fee Required (CCC Membership is different than ACA Membership and they ar

  you can expect in this course.\n\nThis course is designed as a short prog
 ram emphasizing safety\, enjoyment\, and skill development. The skills and
  knowledge gained can set the stage for a lifetime of exploration\, advent
 ures\, a healthy lifestyle\, appreciation of water and the natural world\,
  lasting memories with family and friends\, and a rewarding experience for
  all.\n\nThis L3 RSR course is designed to teach recognition and avoidance
  of common river hazards\, execution of self-rescue techniques\, and simpl
 e rescues for paddlers in distress. Emphasis is placed both on personal sa
 fety and simple\, commonly used skills. This course is aimed at whitewater
  boaters interested in learning fundamental river rescue skills\, such as 
 wading\, throw ropes\, swimming\, rigging and craft-based rescue.\n\nNote:
  This is being held in conjunction with the L4 Swiftwater Rescue class. Da
 y one covers the L3 River Safety Rescue skills. Day two covers the L4 Swif
 twater Rescue skills.\n\nThis course is conducted utilizing with ACA Paddl
 esports certified instructors and ACA Paddlesports curriculum
