 hip or $10 ACA Event Fee Required (CCC Membership is different than ACA Me

  designed as a short program emphasizing safety\, enjoyment\, and skill de
 velopment. The skills and knowledge gained can set the stage for a lifetim
 e of exploration\, adventures\, a healthy lifestyle\, appreciation of wate
 r and the natural world\, lasting memories with family and friends\, and a
  rewarding experience for all.\n\nThis L3 RSR course is designed to teach 
 recognition and avoidance of common river hazards\, execution of self-resc
 ue techniques\, and simple rescues for paddlers in distress. Emphasis is p
 laced both on personal safety and simple\, commonly used skills. This cour
 se is aimed at whitewater boaters interested in learning fundamental river
  rescue skills\, such as wading\, throw ropes\, swimming\, rigging and cra
 ft-based rescue.\n\nNote: This is being held in conjunction with the L4 Sw
 iftwater Rescue class. Day one covers the L3 River Safety Rescue skills. D
 ay two covers the L4 Swiftwater Rescue skills.\n\nThis course is conducted
  utilizing with ACA Paddlesports certified instructors and ACA Paddlesport
 s curriculum
