 nce fee.\n\nLocation: Asheville\, NC area and north. Most likely venues 
 – French Broad\, Pigeon\, Lower Nolichucky\, Toe River\n\nIntermediate c
 linics are targeted at those who have experience and are comfortable on wh
 itewater\, know eddy turns and peel outs and are proficient on class 2-3 r
 ivers. Kayakers and C1 paddlers at this level have a reliable whitewater r
 oll and can help rescue others on class 2-3 rivers. The format of intermed
 iate clinics varies a bit. On the first day\, some classes may spend time 
 on flatwater reinforcing skills\, while other classes may head straight to
  a Class II-III river. The second day of the clinic is typically spent on 
 a Class II-III river. Intermediate clinics work to strengthen fundamental 
 skills such as forward strokes\, sweeps\, draws\, prys\, eddy turns and pe
 els outs. In addition\, intermediate clinics often start the introduction 
 of advanced and compound strokes and maneuvers such as bow draws into forw
 ard strokes\, basic surfing\, use of rocks\, and other fun stuff. Intermed
 iate clinic students should have quite a bit of experience and be comforta
 ble on rivers like the Lower Haw below 2\,500 cfs\, the Nantahala\, or Pig

 linic is for persons over 18 years of age\, or over 15 years with a parent
  attending the clinic (Above 13 years may also be considered on a case-by-
 case basis). CCC is a Paddle America Club insured by the ACA (American Can
 oe Association). Registration is non-refundable.\n\nRequirements:\n\nWhite
 water boat and gear (minimum boat\, paddle\, pfd\, skirt\, and helmet)\nCo
 mpletion of ACA &amp\; CCC waivers (follow-up by Educ. Chair after initial
  registration)\nCompletion of questionnaire (follow-up by Educ. Chair afte
