  are targeted at those who have experience and are comfortable on whitewa
 ter\, know eddy turns and peel outs and are proficient on class 2-3 rivers
 .  Kayakers and C1 paddlers at this level have a reliable whitewater roll
  and can help rescue others on class 2-3 rivers.  The format of intermedi
 ate clinics varies a bit.  On the first day\, some classes may spend time
  on flatwater reinforcing skills\, while other classes may head straight t
 o a Class II-III river.  The second day of the clinic is typically spent 
 on a Class II-III river.  Intermediate clinics work to strengthen fundame
 ntal skills such as forward strokes\, sweeps\, draws\, prys\, eddy turns a
 nd peels outs.  In addition\, intermediate clinics often start the introd
 uction of advanced and compound strokes and maneuvers such as bow draws in
 to forward strokes\, basic surfing\, use of rocks\, and other fun stuff. 
  Intermediate clinic students should have quite a bit of experience and be
  comfortable on rivers like the Lower Haw below 2\,500 cfs\, the Nantahala
 \, or Pigeon Gorge.\n\nMore details available on https://www.carolinacanoe
 club.org/  Membership in CCC is required.   This clinic is for persons 
 over 18 years of age\, or over 15 years with a parent attending the clinic
  (Above 13 years may also be considered on a case-by-case basis).\n\nInstr
 uctors: To Be Determined\n\nParticipants should be able to provide the req
 uired gear for use during the clinic.  Instructors are not expected to pr

  spaces are determined by date payment for the course is received.  ACA a
