Hi There,

My kayaking journey, well, I always skied and biked.  One day talking to a couple of guys, they explained how I may like kayaking, being on a river in the mountains.  Sounded good to me.  I booked a 3 day instructional in the Adirondacks.  Met my instructor and the first thing I asked was, “What is a kayak? ” .  He opened the barn door and showed me, “these are kayaks”.   I never looked back.  I was never the same.   I love travelling; so when I go, I try to do a couple of rivers; I have kayaked in Scotland, France, Salzah and Salach rivers in Austria, and the famous Soca River in Slovenia.  (which had me cross in and out of Italy).   My home base is Lehich river in PA.   The WOR is an awesome event I have been to fort he past 5 years, but I missed 2026.

Otherwise, I am a CPA, specializing in tax.  I find it interesting but most think it is boring.
