Friends of the Nolichucky Meeting Oct 27 and 28
Dear Friends of the Nolichucky,
We hope you’ll join us next week for two important community events in Erwin as we continue our work to protect and restore the Nolichucky River.
Monday, October 27 – NORA Night at the Union Street Taproom
5:00–7:30 PM | Union Street Taproom, Erwin, TN
This will serve as our Fall Board of Directors Meeting and Year-in-Review Presentation. Come hear about our accomplishments this year, from flood recovery to riparian restoration, and learn about our plans for 2026. We’ll also hold a “pass the hat” donation drive to support ongoing programs and discuss how supporters like you can get involved in shaping the Nolichucky’s future.
Tuesday, October 28 – After the Storm: Riparian Restoration Workshop
4:30–7:30 PM | 701 Bailey Lane, Erwin, TN
Join NORA and our partners from state agencies and regional nonprofits for another session in our After the Storm series. Presenters will share resources available to farmers and private landowners to help restore flood-damaged properties, stabilize streambanks, and rebuild resilient landscapes.
From 4:30–5:30, partner organizations will host informational tables, followed by presentations beginning at 5:30.
Both events are open to the public, and we encourage all NORA supporters, partners, and community members to attend. Bring your friends!
Visit www.nolichucky.org/events for full details, updates, and ways to support our mission.
With gratitude,
Trey Moore
