Participants must provide their own boat and paddling gear appropriate for the weather.

Maximum of 10 students

Learn the different lines to run Nantahala Falls with style and confidence. Reliable whitewater roll is recommended.

Boat Based Rescue – USNWC Staff

Location – Island Park, Tuckasegee River

Participants must provide their own paddling gear appropriate for the weather.

Maximum of 10 students.

Learn or review techniques for helping yourself and your fellow paddlers without getting out of your canoe or kayak. A roll is not required; however, the student must be comfortable performing a wet exit.

Students will receive rolling instruction and tips from USNWC staff.
A kayak roll is not required; however, the student should be comfortable performing a wet exit.

The limit on students is 10 and that count is computed separately for First Aid and CPR as some people take only one area. The cost is $20 for either First Aid or CPR. Both areas will cost $28. Participants can secure their spot by mailing Peter a check made out to Wolf Creek Adventures.

Meet at put-in for Devil’s Dip. Participants must provide their own paddling gear appropriate for the weather. Maximum of 10 students. Discover how to get vertical on purpose and maximize your style points in your slicey kayak or C1. Learn to identify potential play spots. Reliable whitewater roll is strongly recommended. 

*Do Not start this form until you are ready to complete registration and make payment for the class.  After you submit the form, it will direct you to complete payment via Paypal.  Payment by Paypal is greatly preferred to reduce the paperwork associated with these classes.  If you cannot pay by Paypal, you will need to remove the course from the cart at the end and make payment by sending a check made out to the Carolina Canoe Club with your paper forms.
