Memorial for Everett Bowman

Some of you will remember Everett Bowman, an open canoeist who paddled for many years before dying of cancer 10 years ago.  On August 9, the Catawba Lands Conservancy will dedicate a paddle launch in his memory at 5 PM.  The launch is on the South Fork of the Catawba River near Spencer Mountain.
