2019 Novice Clinic – Western NC

*Do Not start this form until you are ready to complete registration and make payment for the class.  After you submit the form, it will direct you to complete payment via Paypal.  Payment by Paypal is greatly preferred to reduce the paperwork associated with these classes.  If you cannot pay by Paypal, you will need to remove the course from the cart at the end and make payment by sending a check made out to the Carolina Canoe Club with your paper forms.  Registration is on a space available basis and spaces are determined by date payment for the course is received.*

 Novice Clinics are targeted at those who have some experience on whitewater and are proficient in flat water, know basic strokes and can maneuver the boat in Class 1-2 moving water.  The Novice clinic is aimed at improving basic skills.

 Participants should have all of their own gear for use during the clinic.  If you need to borrow gear, you can try asking on the club Facebook page and/or Yahoo list.  Paddlers are a friendly sort any you may find people willing to loan gear, but it is not guaranteed.  Instructors are not expected to provide gear.
