Trip Coordinator Drawing and Incentives

As if the simple reward of giving back to the club that has given you so much was not enough, we've added another great reason you should volunteer to coordinate a paddling trip. For 2007, all trip leaders who volunteer and successfully lead a published trip will be entered into a year end drawing for cash prizes. In addition to monetary drawings, you may also qualify to win other great prizes as they become available. In 2006, we received a brand new Wavesport Super EZ which was awarded in addition to the cash prizes.

  • First Prize $500 value
  • Second Prize $200 value
  • Third Prize $100 value
  • Fourth Prize $100 value
  • Fifth Prize $100 value
  • Possibly Others, TBA

Drawings will be held at the December meeting, the first full weekend in December. Anyone who signs up to lead a trip at least 7 days in advance of the trip date and notifies the cruise master to have it added to the web and/or Paddler will be entered in the drawing. Week of Rivers, Easter and Labor Day annual trips are excluded.

If you've never coordinated a trip before, it's really easy and now is even more rewarding. Feel free to contact the cruisemaster for any questions or concerns you have, and we'll help you make your trip safe, fun and successful.
